The Omnibus Sustainability Package – Headlines
In February 2025, the European Commission introduced an “Omnibus Package” of proposed changes to a number of the flagship EU sustainability legislation, in particular impacting sustainability-related reporting and due diligence obligations. The Omnibus Package was conceived as part of the EU’s simplification agenda and aims to limit the regulatory and compliance burden for companies based and/or operating in the EU.
